This cluster serves the purpose of archiving unbackupped raw material from a circus.dev network.
There are several Ceph Deployment options from which we favour Ceph Docker.
Resources we have available are:
* 1x Hypervisor w/ 4 CPU + 16GiB RAM composed of * 1x SSD for Kernel Virtual Machines and Kernel Containers * 2x HDD for Ceph OSDs
Evaluating this setup against Ceph's requirements allows for virtualized deployment of MON, MDS and a RESTful API.
A RGW Rados gateway is out of scope due to its heavy use of Placement Groups for its storage pools.
